Programmed activities change according to the time of the year, some are carried out monthly as the Friendly Tastings (last Thursday of the month) and others just in specific dates as the wine and cava tastings, walks between vineyards, sailboat tastings, pairing tastings (sausages, cheeses, sushi ...) and special visits to wineries. The activities take place in the Tasting Room of Cal Feru, where both Penedés wines and cavas and other sparkling wines are tasted as well as wines from different wine regions, both national and international. Personalized activities are available for groups, both in the Cal Feru Tasting Room, in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia, 40 minutes from Barcelona, and at home, by prior reservation. For groups of friends or companies : amusing tastings with gaming format, technical tastings, breakfast with sparkling wine tasting, wine tasting at the sea on a sailboat, tastings in the middle of the vineyards. The Tasting Room can also be used for meetings and presentations . These activities can be personalised according to the needs combined with visits to wineries to live an experience of a whole day or half a day of wine tourism.
The Tasting Room of Cal Feru is a unique space in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia, located on the first floor of the shop, where you can taste sparkling wines from different winemakers, without prior reservation during the store’s opening hours. There are two different packs available: the Welcome Pack allows you to taste a Reserva Cava, a Gran Reserva and a rosé Cava and the Cava Time Pack consisting in 3 glasses of Cava Gran Reserva of different winemakers and styles. The sparkling wine selection changes every month. The tasting, with prior reservation , can be directed and commented, by < font color = "948c19"> Xavi Roig , sommelier of Cal Feru, finalist in the contest "Best sommelier of Spain in Cava 2013-2015". Where does Cal Feru´s name come from? What was the price of a liter of wine in 1960? All these questions are answered in the exhibition "75 years of wine trading" located in the basement of the store where wine bottles matured in the past. Now it is a small modern museum with its own personality. The exhibition features the documentary "75 years of wine trading", which received the Premio Raíces 2011 in the MOST International Film Festival of Vi i el Cava , directed by Ignacio Acconcia and Georgina Acero with music by Anna Roig. The visits are guided with tasting.
